We All Need A Little (Digestive) Help

January is Food as Medicine month. Our focus is nutrition, awareness about bad ingredients in food and food that heals.

Our hectic lifestyles typically drive how well – or how poorly—we eat. We eat food on the run. It can be undercooked, overcooked or highly processed, all of which make food hard to digest. Sometimes we just need a little help, right? My private label Opti Digestive Support is specifically designed to support digestion and help unlock more nutrition from food. It is designed to stimulate the release and production of natural digestive enzymes in the pancreas. Those enzymes support digestion by breaking down food, unlocking more nutrients to your benefit. This formula supports gastric acid balance and digestive function.

Poor digestion can produce bloating and occasional gas, cramping, diarrhea or constipation, and even lead to incomplete digestion of food proteins that have been linked to food sensitivities. Optimal enzyme levels prevent foods from being fermented in the gut, so they halt the proliferation of “bad” bacteria and yeast at the expense of “good” intestinal bacteria. The enzymes facilitate more complete digestion of carbohydrates, which in turn removes the food source for these bad organisms.

Other things also contribute to poor gut absorption. Chronic overuse of certain medications may contribute to side effects stemming from low acid production, including poor mineral absorption and poor absorption of B12. Did you know that 1 in 3 Americans suffer from low levels of acidity? The depletion of stomach acidity is due to medications and age; there is age-related decline of enzyme.
The bottom line is that there are many factors that can lead to suboptimal nutritional status of certain vitamins and minerals and insufficient enzyme activation in the stomach. So, we all need a little help from enzymes.

The overall result and benefit of enzymes is that more nutrition can be derived from food. In addition, regular bowel movements result from this better digestion. My formulation is a comprehensive blend of acid-resistant, plant-based enzymes designed to help maximize the digestion and absorption of nutrients from food.

Each capsule includes lipase, amylase, lactase, CereCalase® and protease to aid in the digestion of protein, fat, starches, fiber and other difficult to digest foods known to cause food sensitivities. CereCalase®, a special blend of hemicellulase, beta-glucanase and phytase, is specially formulated to digest the cell walls of plants, providing better nutrition from a plant-based diet. The formulation also contains Gentian root and artichoke, both of which stimulate the body’s natural production of enzymes and bile.

Opti Digestive Support is specifically designed to support digestion and help unlock more nutrition from food. If you’ve made a 2024 resolution to eat healthier, consider this supplement as part of your regimen. It’s a great sidekick to healthy eating and you’ll definitely notice the result.

08-09-21 Deep Dive PREMIUM – with Jamie Walden

Meet Jamie Walden, of Omega Dynamics. Imbued with matchless passion for all things “adventurous” and “fun”, Jamie’s teen years were filled with significant tumult (injuries, arrests, and choices of near life-long consequence). However, amid the rebellion and ruckus, Jamie continually endeavored to one day earn the title, “U.S. Marine”. After being nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Defense, Intelligence, and Diplomacy in Washington, D.C., where he subsequently secured a nomination to the US Naval Academy, Jamie made the determination to simply enlist in the Marine Corps Infantry and achieve his childhood dream.

After leaving the Marines Corps, Jamie obtained a double major B.S. in Law Enforcement and History. Pursuing a career in Federal Law Enforcement, Jamie was selected as an Intern for the United States Marshals Service, and subsequent recruitment to a “Three Letter” agency. It was then, when Jamie received “the call”, that the Lord began testing and affirming the genuineness of his faith.

After again returning to Iraq in 2014 to serve the Christians suffering under the savage campaign of ISIS, Jamie and his wife Virginia were compelled to surrender their paradigm and follow the Lord into full-time ministry.

“The Mission of Omega Dynamics is this: to teach, train and equip “Those with ears to hear” to stand anew in their rightful place as more than conquerors in a kingdom that cannot be shaken…this generation is literally, eternally dying for us to”
