Meet Your Instructor:

Mike Spaulding was ordained to the ministry in 1998. Since then he has planted two Calvary Chapel churches – In 1998, he opened Calvary Christian Fellowship, St. Marys, Ohio, and in 2005, he planted Calvary Chapel of Lima, Ohio, where he currently serves as pastor. Mike has been married to his lovely wife Kathy for over 40 years and together they have four daughters, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mike holds a B.A. in Organizational Management, a MA in Theological Studies, and a Ph.D. in apologetics. • Part 1 Topic:  Introduction to Revelation and the Seven Ecclesias.

A primer on the book of Revelation including the various prevailing views. Most Christians do not understand that the seven Ecclesias represented in Chapters 2-3 are seven letters that Jesus spoke to them. The first couple of Ecclesias will be examined.

• Part 2 topic: Deeper Dive into the Seven Ecclesias 

Discussion related to the Ecclesias and what they say to us today.  Pastor Mike will complete his discussion of the seven Ecclesias and why what Jesus wrote to them matters for us today.

• Part 3 Topic: Introduction to the four horses of the apocalypse.

A discussion of the context of the seal judgments and the first and second horses and what they bring to the earth.

• Part 4 Topic: The four horses and what they represent.

A discussion of the fact that each horse is a different color and represents a different judgment upon “those who dwell in the earth.” What are those judgments in context and what might that look like today.
