In 1994, Reinette Senum became the first woman to cross Alaska alone, filming this isolated winter solo trek for National Geographic.
For the last 20 years, Reinette has applied many lessons learned along the Alaskan trail and focused on building her hometown of Nevada City, California, as a more prosperous and resilient community.
During the summer of 2020, Reinette stepped down from her third term on the city council because of the Covid-lies she witnessed within her local government and after publicly calling out California Governor Newsom for his illegal statewide mask mandate. She ran for California Governor in the 2022 primaries with no party affiliation.
Today, she has launched GenSeven and Save Our Skies, taking on legal action against the most egregious geoengineering perpetrators in the US.
