Nick Kupper is a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 25 and a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He served more than 20 years in the military, including five years as an Air Force recruiter.

During the COVID military vaccine mandate, Kupper refused the shot and challenged what he believed was an unlawful order. He faced the possible loss of his career, retirement, medical benefits, and healthcare coverage for his family. A court injunction stopped his separation just after he received discharge paperwork.

Kupper is featured in the documentary Duty to Disobey, which follows U.S. service members who resisted the COVID mandate and paid a heavy personal price.
