Dreams sit in a part of life most people surrender without examination. Pastor Nathan Branim opens that ground with a claim drawn straight from Scripture. God has authorized dreams as a form of heaven to earth communication, and modern Christians have left that field crowded with confusion, bad sources, and counterfeit voices.

He starts in Acts 2:17 and Job 33 and treats those verses as active instruction, not distant poetry. He frames dreams as part of what he calls the third voice. God speaks through His Word. God speaks through the Holy Spirit. God also reaches people in sleep, in twilight states, through conscience, through other believers, and through doors that open at the right time. That claim puts pressure on every listener who has dismissed the night season as random mental noise.

Nathan Branim then presses into the disorder surrounding dream interpretation. He names poisoned spiritual wells. He rejects New Age systems. He rejects careless dependence on dream dictionaries. He argues that biblical interpretation must begin in Scripture and move through the Holy Spirit with discernment shaped by context, culture, and the dreamer’s own symbolic language. A snake may signal danger for one person. A lion may carry two entirely different meanings depending on what is happening in the dream. That leaves no room for lazy formulas.

The pressure deepens when he explains why dreams arrive in symbols at all. Proverbs 25:2 stands over the entire conversation. God conceals a matter. Kings search it out. Nathan ties that principle to Joseph and the title of his book, Master of Dreams. Joseph’s brothers saw the symbols and knew they carried authority. Branim argues that God still uses images, pictures, and coded scenes to seize attention and pull people into a search that cannot be done casually. A dream becomes a summons.

He does not leave the subject in theory. He recounts a twilight experience in which he heard a friend speaking against God and then confirmed it with a text message that exposed the exact moment. He recounts a dream that seemed to point him toward a youth pastor role, then describes the lack of peace that stopped him. A year later he stepped into the senior role at that same church, and the earlier dream made sense in full. Those stories move the discussion out of abstraction and into consequence.

He widens the claim even further. Dreams reach beyond Christians who already know the language of faith. He cites Abimelech. He cites historical accounts like Elias Howe. He points to Muslims encountering Jesus in dreams and visions. Then he turns to nightmares, spiritual attack, forgiveness, prayer, deliverance, and the need to determine the source. By the time he returns to his book, the issue is no longer whether dreams exist. The issue is who taught you to read them, and what entered the silence while you slept.

For centuries people have dreamed. Very few have ever been taught what those dreams might actually mean.
