DR.T'S HEALTH TIP
Two Reasons You Should Choose Tenpenny Turmeric
Turmeric has been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine practices like Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to treat inflammation, joint pain and respiratory problems.
More recently, turmeric has been scientifically studied, with evidence pointing to its ability as a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory agent, and antimicrobial and antiviral substance.
Not all turmerics are created the same however. There are a plethora of products out there. What are the distinguishers? Here are two things that set my private label supplements apart.

Turmeric is indeed a highly researched nutritional ingredient with numerous health benefits. Here are some key takeaways from the information you provided:
Soothes Digestion: Turmeric helps soothe the lining of the digestive tract and stimulates bile production, aiding in digestion.
Enhances Immune Function: Turmeric supports immune system regulation by boosting antibody response, which helps defend against pathogens.
Improves Skin Complexion: Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties can help calm skin irritation and promote a youthful and healthier appearance.
Supports Strong Bones: Turmeric supports bone density health by reducing the breakdown of bone cells, which is beneficial for maintaining bone health as we age.
Promotes Joint Mobility: Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties have been shown to improve knee joint mobility and joint comfort, particularly in elderly individuals.
Maintains Healthy Blood Pressure: Turmeric supports healthy blood pressure levels by reducing the activity of specific receptors that cause blood vessels to constrict.
Improves Circulation: Turmeric helps improve overall circulation and cardiovascular health by reducing blood platelet stickiness and facilitating blood flow. For ECP clients, adding the Opti Turmeric Essentials to your routine, could further improve the end results of the therapy.
Fights Brain Aging: Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, helps protect the brain from oxidative stress and the development of plaque deposits, which can interfere with memory.
Influences Blood Glucose: Turmeric may improve the body’s utilization of sugar and help maintain healthy blood sugar levels by stimulating the activation of AMPK, an energy-balancing substance in the body.
Supports Respiratory Health: Turmeric’s antioxidant properties help calm inflammation in the airways of the respiratory system, supporting respiratory health.
Aids in Muscle and Workout Recovery: Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce muscle soreness and aid in post-workout recovery.
Overall, turmeric is a versatile spice with a wide range of potential health benefits for digestion, immune function, skin health, bone health, joint mobility, blood pressure, brain health, liver health, blood glucose regulation, respiratory health, and muscle recovery.

THE TENPENNY REPORT
Childhood Antibiotics Now Linked to Crohn’s, lupus, multiple sclerosis…
Posted: 10/28/2017
Antibiotics are one of the most prescribed (and abused) medications in the world. They are often incorrectly, incompetently prescribed, particularly to children, for ailments that aren’t even resolved by taking the medications. They are so heavily prescribed that superbugs have risen from a condition known as “antibiotic resistance.”
Antibiotics are often taken for granted but can do serious damage to the body. Take Levaquin, for example, it now has a black box warning on it for the damages it has caused people. And yet, it remains a commonly prescribed form of antibiotics. If you Google Levaquin side-effects, be prepared to immediately feel unsettled in your space. There are people who have issues years and years down the road following the taking of this medication. And often it is prescribed needlessly.
Now, things are getting worse…

Proverbs 27:17
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
Looking for a Spiritual prompt for my substack, I put the word ‘fellowship’ into my OpenBible.info concordance. While I was scanning the page of verses, Proverb 27:17 rather popped off the page.
The concept of ‘iron sharpening iron’ implies that when two pieces of iron strike each other, the piece that is struck is transformed, as when an anvil sharpens a hot piece of straight metal into a knife or a spear.
When a friend wants to help us grow and truly wants what is best for us, it is imperative to become a good listener. Accept their counsel, advice, or constructive criticism with an attitude of grateful acceptance. Be humble and take it in.
It took courage for him to speak up; It took a similar amount of courage to not react, not be offended, and to let it “sink in.”
It was iron shaping iron… making me into something better.

Covid-19 and The Loss of Smell, Pt 2
The Devastation Rolls On
The first step in recognizing a smell is the activation of the olfactory epithelium (sitting right above the cribriform plate is the olfactory bulb, which is actually part of the brain). In humans, these cells are located in the olfactory clefts, at the highest part of the nasal cavity. The clefts have unique properties making them different than all other cells in nasal cavity. In fact, odorant-binding proteins have been discovered in the mucus covering the olfactory clefts that have not been found elsewhere.
A meta-analysis published in 2020 in the Asian Pacific Journal of Allergy and Immunology identified that 45% of all COVID-19 patients had olfactory dysfunction but up to 40% of those cases, the loss of smell was caused by congestion and swelling of the mucous membranes (i.e. like a bad head cold.) If this was the cause, symptoms usually resolve.
But when the olfactory clefts are damaged, the loss of smell does not seem to improve with the use of vasoconstrictors (nasal sprays), antibiotics, or steroids, and in fact, can be permanent. In spite of its regenerative capacity, neural olfactory dysfunction in humans often lasts for months to years and is sometimes permanent.
