Bill Gates Is Getting Ready to Block Out the Sun

The “reporting” of self-appointed fact checkers like Snopes is interesting to say the least. As soon as the April 2025 internet chatter started about Bill Gates’ UK experiment to block out the sun, Snopes told us this was “mostly false” propaganda. Nothing to see here, Snopes said, while at the same time confirming that Gates has been funding projects since 2007 for “solar radiation management” (SRM) – you know, a code phrase for blocking out the sun.

Snopes is ridiculous, and their own article proves it by saying that Gates is indeed involved in these experiments which, by the way, are deemed a controversial form of geoengineering proposed as a last-ditch effort against global warming.

Last-ditch effort? What might that involve? But before we dive into the last-ditch efforts, let’s start at the beginning. How did we get to this “dire” situation?

How the Elites Measure Climate Change

If you’re wondering how the UK would ever agree to an experiment to block out the sun, it all started with the 2015 Paris Agreement (the one Trump bowed out of on behalf of the United States, for which we should be forever grateful). The Paris group set global not-to-exceed targets based on a comparison of the temperature now versus the temperature during the pre-industrial age. However, they only used 50 years – the period between 1850-1900 — as the pre-industrial age. In other words, they’re using for a comparison a mere 50 years in the timeline of a planet that is possibly billions of years old.
In 2024, the global average temperatures ran 1.6 degrees Celsius above the Paris-set target, and everyone began running for the hills calling it a “climate breakdown.” First, this is a transitory measurement and is not a sustained measurement made over time.

Any climate scientist who knows anything will tell you that the climate has always changed. In fact, the definition of climate is literally “weather changes over time.” Professor Emeritus Ian Plimer from the University of Melbourne says that climate, sea level and ice sheets have always changed, and that the changes we see today pale in comparison with those from the past. He also says that carbon dioxide lags behind temperature increases by about 800 years, so CO2 cannot be the cause. Plimer points out that the climate crazies called it “global cooling” in the 1970s, then changed it to “global warming” and now call it “climate change” to cover all the bases.

Enter Bill Gates

Gates’ latest megalomaniacal experiment involves the idea of either blocking or reflecting a small amount of sunlight away from Earth to reduce global warming. In short, the experiment uses artificial methods to mimic the planet’s natural cooling effects that occur after major volcanic eruptions.

If you’re thinking volcanic ash, you’re close.

The project involves spraying aerosols into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight away to temporarily cool the planet. The UK bought the idea hook, line, and sinker, to the tune of a $66 million experiment to dim the sun. The monetary sum for this experiment is a mere drop in the bucket in the UK’s plan to invest $1 billion in geoengineering research. It is indeed interesting that the UK is investing so much, despite the small country contributing less than 1% of global carbon emissions.
At that paltry of a contribution from one country, would Gates be better focused on farting cows, which clearly contribute more that Great Britain?
Nope, Gates is focused on this technology, inspired by an eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines years ago. And lots of people are wondering what has happened to the UK government, which seems to be a victim of “runaway climate change. This latest venture, and the $1 billion investment represent a massive departure from the UK’s traditional climate policies.
It seems the usual players are involved — Bill Gates and the World Economic Forum. The UK government has the Advanced Research and Innovation Agency (ARIA) that will spearhead the whole thing.
Gates tried to conduct a similar experiment in June 2021. Known as the chalk dust test flight, this ill-advised experiment attempted to send a test balloon filled with 2 kilograms of chalk into the stratosphere (12 miles above the Earth’s surface). Scientists then planned to monitor the chalk particle interaction with the atmosphere and planned to feed the data into computer models to predict how a larger plume would work to block the sun – stop it from hitting the surface of the Earth — in order to cool the planet.
The test was designed to take place in Kiruna, Sweden. Harvard University was in charge of the whole $3 million SCoPEx (Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment) project, which was of course financially backed by Gates and other private donors (who are these people?) (Maybe this is an unknown reason why Trump is after Harvard…perhaps our president does not want them to block out the sun!)
Naturally, there was heavy criticism of this project, which some scientists called “terrifying”.

The balloon test flight never occurred, thank the Lord. The Swedish Space Corporation which operated the balloon launch site, faced major opposition by scientists, environmental groups, and even indigenous communities. These groups wanted more public discourse and transparency. Gosh, the nerve of these guys!

That experiment didn’t happen and Harvard officially discontinued the SCoPEx project in 2024. But it appears that Gates has found a new victim (oops, I mean partner.)

Now he wants to do this (see image below).

What could go wrong?

Quite a bit actually. Experts warn of reduced crop yields of 30% and threatened honeybee populations, among others. And of course, just the ethical concerns involved in altering the atmosphere without public consent are a problem. The reality is that no one really knows what impact this could have on weather patterns or on human health.

Critics describe the latest project, which could launch this summer, as “drastic, dangerous, and misguided.”

That sounds right to me.

The dust would create a giant sunshade similar to a solar eclipse, but it would most likely leave parts of the planet uninhabitable by humans. Critics also say this SRM does nothing to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which climate scientists believe is the main culprit of global warming. The dust could damage the ozone layer that protects humans from hazardous ultraviolet (UV) radiation, meaning more DNA damage and more cancers (as if we don’t have enough already.)
But these so-called scientists are desperate for a plan B in case other efforts like carbon capture don’t work, but this plan B is a bit drastic, wouldn’t you say? Yet they’ve been bitten by the climate bug! ARIA programme director Mark Symes explained that this experiment fills a critical missing gap in our knowledge regarding the feasibility and impacts of SRM. They go further: “To fill that gap requires real-world outdoor experiments”.

At what cost?

We’ll have to all keep an eye on this crazy sun experiment. Sadly, it’s not the only one they’re planning. Other research includes thickening Arctic sea ice to make it more reflective; this could take place as soon as winter 2025. Other experiments are investigating mirrors or shades deployed into space to deflect the sun. (That’s a pretty big sun shade if you ask me).

The Marine Cloud Brightening (MCB) is designed to spray a fine mist of natural sea water into the atmosphere from a coastal location in the UK. The plan is to brighten the cloud thus making it more reflective. The Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) experiment seems like a revamp of Gates’ balloon project. It involves sending a small amount of natural mineral dust up in a high altitude weather balloon, but no dust would be released. Scientists just want to see how the balloon and dust react with the environment. Yeah, right. Not convinced on that one.

UK ARIA promises that before any “real world outdoor experiments” take place, there will be a full and transparent public discussion and of course environmental assessments done beforehand.
But you know, what if they declare a climate emergency just like they’ve declared the COVID pandemic? Could there ever be an emergency use declaration (EUA) weather balloon and chalk release? I would not put it past these maniacs.

Real scientists are extremely worried, and they should be. We all should be.

Meet Jamie Walden, of Omega Dynamics. Imbued with matchless passion for all things “adventurous” and “fun”, Jamie’s teen years were filled with significant tumult (injuries, arrests, and choices of near life-long consequence). However, amid the rebellion and ruckus, Jamie continually endeavored to one day earn the title, “U.S. Marine”. After being nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Defense, Intelligence, and Diplomacy in Washington, D.C., where he subsequently secured a nomination to the US Naval Academy, Jamie made the determination to simply enlist in the Marine Corps Infantry and achieve his childhood dream.

After leaving the Marines Corps, Jamie obtained a double major B.S. in Law Enforcement and History. Pursuing a career in Federal Law Enforcement, Jamie was selected as an Intern for the United States Marshals Service, and subsequent recruitment to a “Three Letter” agency. It was then, when Jamie received “the call”, that the Lord began testing and affirming the genuineness of his faith.

After again returning to Iraq in 2014 to serve the Christians suffering under the savage campaign of ISIS, Jamie and his wife Virginia were compelled to surrender their paradigm and follow the Lord into full-time ministry.

“The Mission of Omega Dynamics is this: to teach, train and equip “Those with ears to hear” to stand anew in their rightful place as more than conquerors in a kingdom that cannot be shaken…this generation is literally, eternally dying for us to”
